アメリカの金持ちは見せびらかす VSイタリアの金持ちは隠す

アメリカの金持ちは自分は金持ちだということを誇示する傾向があると思います。自分がどれだけいい車を持っていて豪邸も分かりやすいように外から見ても金持ちそうな創りにしてあります。

その点イタリアの金持ちは自分が金持ちだということを隠す傾向があるように思います。と言うことは、半端なく金持ちな可能性があるのです。イタリアのベネチアの豪邸は外から見ても全く普通に見えるアパートでも開けるとルーブル美術館並みにゴージャスな家だったりします。

イタリアでは見せびらかすと盗まれたりするのを恐れ、豪邸は隠されたりしています。貧富の差があるからこその自己防衛なんでしょうね。

本当の金持ちはわざとみすぼらしい格好をしたりもします。

本当に見かけにはよらない。

特にイタリアは。

A Happy New Year 2015! FIRENZE-ROME and VENEZIA!

Happy New Year 2015!!!!

I wish you a very happy new year ahead of you from VENICE!

On the 31st of December, 2014, the last day of 2014, I saw a shooting star in Venice!

I have an intuition that 2015 will ROCK!!!!

From Japan, my friend Masako visited and she stayed in Venice and we went to Firenze and Rome and came back to San Marco square for the New Year!

I was very happy to go back to Firenze. It has been 5 years since the last time I visited  Firenze and I was again impressed with this beautiful Duomo di Firenze.

I stayed at NEW HOSTEL booking with Hostelsclub.com and the hostel was awesome and close from the station. The owner of this NEW HOSTEL was very nice and his name is Marco.
Marco offered me a free dinner because I did an interview with him.

I will keep you updated this name of trattoria....
I have to call NEW HOSTEL to find out what the name is...

Anyway, if you have a membership of Hostelsclub.com and stay at NEW HOSTEL in Firenze and go to this trattoria...you will get a FREE glass of wine!!!!

I honestly super recommend this trattoria.
I am happy I went to Firenze just because I was able to eat here....

Later, we went to Rome....
We stayed at Alessandro Palace booking through Hostelsclub.com.
This hostel looked like a hotel and we enjoyed so much staying at this hostel.
A private room with a private shower and also the room had a friedge also.

It is super close from the Rome Termini station.
The staff is very friendly and they offer very yummy breakfast in the morning with a great price.

One tip who is going to Rome now.
Fontana di Trevi is UNDER CONSTRUCTION NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not know.
I was a bit shocked.
It will be restored in May 2015.
Is not this a good tip?


Later for New Year, I came back to San Marco and we saw fireworks!!!

This is my second time to pass my New Year in Venice.
2011, I spent my New Year in Paris with my American friends.
2012, I spent my New Year in Brussel with my Japanese friends.
2013, I spent my New Year in Venice with my Venetian friends.
2014, I spent my New Year in Venice with my Japanese friend.

NHKのゴガクルというサイトは色々な言語をオンラインで無料で勉強できて便利です。

What is like to be Quadrilingual for a Japanese

I am Japanese and I was born in Japan and lived there for 20 years.
Later, I went to the USA and lived there for 4 years. I always had passion for languages that I sneaked in Italian classes and I was learning Italian for free.

When I was working for family swimming pool, I kept Spanish vocablaries memo pad in my hand that I was working and studying. I did not want to lose any moment to study languages for the coming opportunities.

My pursue for languages also reached French that I also went to Paris for a month to study French at the Institue of Catholics. My focus was always to study abroad and learn languages and I did not have any doubt why I do that.

The last destination was Venice: at first I did not know that why the destiny took me to this place.
Little by little, I started to figure out why I was brought here. This city is perfect for multilingual type. First 1 or 2 years living here, I was not sure what I wanted to do here, so I started dancing with Italian contemporary dance team. However, as a Japanese if I speak Japanese, English and Italian I realized that I have so many opportunites here.

All what I pursued was appreciated and the destiny bought me to this magical town.
As a matter of fact, I felt mental stress because I did not understand Italian perfectly that sometimes I felt frtustrated not to be able to express myself fully. However, who knows 2 or 3 years, I might just just get used to it and I might be able to understand more and more.

What I do is to learn 10 vocablaries a day. This is a technique that a British English teacher taught me how to learn languages. When I was a high school girl, I was told that I have an ability to learn languages. Back then I was just into English watching all American moveis. Personally learning by heart 10 vocablaries a day really works. I highly recommend for a person who wants to learn foregin languages.

Learning new languages expand your possibility in your life a lot. You can meet new people not only in your country but also you can communicate with various people from all over the world.

Sky is the limit.

Ai BarbacaniというレストランでZuppa di pesceを飲んでみて下さい。

アドリア海でとれた新鮮なえびと魚とムール貝が一杯入ったおいしいスープが飲めます。ベネチアで色々食べた結果このレストランの海鮮スープが一番おいしいことがわかりました。（私の独断と偏見ですが）

Calle dell paradiso はイタリア語で天国通りという意味です。

本物の暖炉もあり、とても落ち着いた雰囲気の素敵なレストラン。目の前は水路になっており、ゴンドラも時々通り優雅な気分で海鮮スープが飲めるのがとてもおすすめです。

ランチやディナーセットで頼むとウェルカムドリンクのプロセッコというお酒がついてきたり、生クリーム月のティラミスと最後にリモンチェーロもついてきます。

ベネチアでは低価格で泊まれるホテル・ホステルがいっぱいあります。

イタリアに戻ってきて・・・

5か月ぶりにイタリアに戻ってきました。
ベネチアの建物、人、言葉、そして匂いまでなつかしいと思いました。
大人になってからだけど、私はベネチアという街に育てられたんだなとつくづく思います。
イタリアではみんな陽気で、人生を謳歌しようという姿勢が見られます。

もう二度と戻ることはないだろうと一時期は思った私。
それでもこの不思議な街は私を戻りたくさせるパワーがあります。

久しぶりにあった友達も
「また戻ってきたの？Ben tornata!!!!!!!!!!(おかえり！）」
といってくれました。

ベネチアでは車を運転しなくていいし、待ち合わせもリアルと橋の上でとかサンマルコスクエアの時計の前でとかシンプルで徒歩で行けるのでお金もあまりかかりません。

小さいけれどなんだかいいサイズ。

昔は人間関係の密さに疲れたこともありましたが、そんな深くてあったかいベネチアが大好きです。

不思議なことばかり起こるベネチアに再び呼び起されまた戻ってきた私。

今はアクアアルタという洪水が起こって長靴で移動しなければいけません。
意外とおもしろいですよ。水びだしの街を歩くって。

ありえないと思っても起こってしまう。それがベネチア。

ベネチアに一度来てみませんか？
